Milk Chocolate was founded two years ago by Michael Cleary and Richie Ragel. We know the name is a little different, but so is our business. We have a passion for real estate, design, construction, technology and strategy. Milk Chocolate was born to combine these passions to give our clients the best experience possible.
We were avid property investors (and still are) and were experiencing first hand the difficulties of growing our property portfolios. The information we were receiving was unreliable with advisers more concerned about their referral commissions and mainstream news outlets reporting boom to bust stories daily. What we had discovered in our many years of buying and selling property, is unfortunately, average is acceptable in the real estate industry. We knew there had to be a better way for people to buy property.
The name Milk Chocolate is different and that’s not by accident. Everything we do is about disrupting the traditional real estate industry. The many years of holding senior positions and running our own companies have taught us that industries need to constantly evolve, customer experiences must be world class and the use of data and smart strategies be at the core. From the moment we introduce ourselves we want our clients and suppliers to know we do things differently.
Whilst buying, renovating and selling property for our personal portfolios, Richie and Michael started their careers in the Australian advertising industry. For 18 years, Michael headed up operations and held board level roles at some of Australia’s largest networked and independent advertising agencies. In his time, managing teams in excess of 50 people and working on blue chip Australian and international brands. Richie was an Executive Producer, making world-class advertising campaigns come to life in print, tv and digital experiences.

We will view properties and provide a detailed short list, negotiate the purchase price and handle all the relevant purchase requirements. We will work with the managing agent to secure you a tenant if you’re purchasing an investment property. Or alternatively we offer a moving concierge service if it's for your principal place of residence.

We do this for a few reasons:

• To modify the home so it’s better suited to our clients needs
The thought of purchasing a property and undertaking a structural or cosmetic renovation can be a daunting experience, with most people not knowing where to start, how to negotiate costs and what tradesmen to trust.
