It’s been quite a year for Milk Chocolate – one of exciting developments, fresh hires across the country and a brand spanking new place for us to call home.
As we approach the festive season and head into 2023, we thought we’d reflect on the year that was. Here are some of the business’s highlights across 2022.
A raft of new tech tools
It’s been an incredibly busy year for all of our verticals, from Construction to Property Management. But it was a particularly exciting one for the tech side of our business – that is, our UX, machine learning and software engineering teams – who are almost done building our brand-new product and its associated tools.
While we can’t reveal too much just yet, expect to see the product launch in early 2023. We can’t wait!
New hires across the nation
We also grew several of our teams and expanded our reach across the country. We welcomed new buyers agents in different cities, and bolstered our teams in numerous verticals including Construction, Purchase Support, Property Management and Data & Insight.
A bigger and better base
One of the biggest highlights was moving our office from our humble beginnings in St Peters to our new headquarters in Chippendale.
We’d been in St Peters for three years but considering the massive growth we’ve experienced this year, we quickly outgrew our original home. Our new office is a big step up, with capacity for 40 staff and plenty more communal and meeting spaces.
Australia’s fastest starters
Our most recent achievement – and one that really caps off a stellar year – is gaining yet another spot on the AFR Fast Starters List. The list recognises the fastest-growing start-ups and young companies in Australia, and we’re really proud to be on the list for the second year in a row.
